For over 25 years Sharon Piping & Equipment, Inc., has been a leading supplier of Stainless Steel pipe, valves, fittings and flanges to the industrial distribution marketplace.  In 1986, the suburban Chicago-based company launched its Sharpe^® Valve division, an Outsource Manufacturer offering customized assembly of Stainless and Carbon Steel valve products supplying many industries.  As the company continued to grow, Underwriters Laboratories recognized it with an ISO 9001-2000 registration based on Sharpe’s design and manufacturing of valves.

In recent years, the Sharpe^® Valve division has expanded beyond the U.S. into the international marketplace.  While it’s common to find Sharpe^® Valves at work in major U.S. plants, they also are widely accepted in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  Today, many Sharpe^® products are also available in Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, Monel and Brass.  The full line of valves is used by companies of all types and sizes involved in manufacturing, chemical processing, paper and pulp, petroleum, power generation, food processing and more.
